Daniel Cohen is President and Co-Founder of Adhere+, Inc., a healthcare technology company advancing remote therapeutic monitoring and data-driven care for chronic conditions, including pain management, behavioral health, substance use disorder, and obesity. A recognized healthcare policy strategist and crisis manager, he has spent more than four decades advising organizations at the intersection of healthcare, public policy, and government relations.
Mr. Cohen previously served as EVP of Government and Public Relations at KemPharm, SVP of Government Relations and Health Policy at EnteroMedics, where he helped secure FDA approval of the first new obesity medical device in more than a decade, and Head of North American Government Relations for GrĂ¼nenthal USA. Earlier, as Managing Director of Global Government Relations for The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), he led international policy initiatives before the U.S. Congress, European Parliament, and regulators across Asia.
He founded the U.S. Abuse Deterrent Coalition and has served as Chair of the MedStar National Rehabilitation Network and on the MedStar Health Strategic Planning Committee. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions with AIPAC, served as an Alternate U.S. Delegate to the United Nations, and worked on Capitol Hill. He holds degrees from Willamette and Georgetown Universites.
