This advanced, case-based session is designed for interventional pain specialists seeking to refine their approach to complex and recalcitrant pain conditions. The faculty will review common and uncommon anatomical variants, providing "clinical pearls" for safe, effective procedural intervention.

Learning Objectives:

Describe cancer pain in vertebral disease and the choices of targeted interventional procedures (vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, sacroplasty, radiofrequency ablation).
Review cases of complex pathologic and osteoporotic compression vertebral fractures as well as combination therapy with surgical interventions and radiotherapy.
Discuss approaches to revisions and anatomical variations in spinal cord and dorsal root ganglion stimulation, and other neuromodulation and minimally invasive spine cases.
Recognize slipping rib syndrome as an underdiagnosed cause of refractory thoracic pain and apply a stepwise approach to diagnosis and management.
