Dr. Salas is Chief of Pain Medicine Service at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System. He is an Associate Professor at the UNLV School of Medicine and Program Director of an ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship. He is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with subspecialty certifications in Sports Medicine and Pain Medicine. His work focuses on multidisciplinary approaches to pain care, education for medical students and trainees, and research on non-pharmacologic approaches to pain management.
