This workshop provides a comprehensive exploration of modern approaches to chronic pain care. Participants, including medical providers, allied/integrative health professionals and their staff, will gain insights into the biopsychosocial model, emphasizing the integration of physiological, psychological, and social factors and approaches in pain management. Through interactive sessions, attendees will learn to operationalize this approach in their practice, leveraging multidisciplinary strategies, modern brain science, the therapeutic alliance, and integrative modalities. The workshop also addresses barriers to implementation, coaching techniques for better patient compliance, and the importance of evolving pain care to improve patient outcomes and reduce physician burnout. Healthcare professionals will be equipped with the tools and knowledge to transform chronic pain care through a collaborative, biopsychosocial, and multidisciplinary approach.
